Skin just under the nail on which the nail rests.

Nail Biting refers to the habit of biting someone's own nails. It affects both the health of nails, as well the overall health of the individual. In some cases, can be a psychological disorder.

Nail Disease/Disorder refers to a disease or trauma of the nail.
Nail Enamel Synonym of Nail Polish. Nail Fold
Hard skin overlapping the base and sides of a nail.

Synonym of nail polish.

Nail strengtheners are products that make nails more resistant to breakage and protect them from damage.

Someone who is licensed to perform nail services.

Technology that deals with very small materials that are sized from one to 100 nanometers.

A painful condition due to growth of nerve between the third & fourth toes.
Newbie
Slang for newly appointed or graduated nail tech.
NFPA Hazard Classification
Rating system for the classification of chemicals based on health, flammability, reactivity and other elements by National Fire Protection Agency.
Nippers
A manicure and pedicure tool that is used to trim nails, cuticles and to nip gels.
Nitrocellulose
A substance used in the production of nail paints, polishes and top/base coats.
No-Buy
No-Buy refers to a month or a year in which someone chooses not to buy products related to any specific category like clothes, nail polishes etc.
No-Light Gel
Nail gels that do not require a UV lamp for hardening.
Non-Acid Primer
Primer that does not contain acids such as methacrylic acid.
Non-Toxic
A substance that is not harmful when ingested (with LD50 rating of >15g/Kg)
NOTD
Acronym for “Nails of the Day”
NP
“Nail Polish”
Nubbins
Slang for short nails.
Nuggle
Someone who is new to world of nail polish.
